The City Club of Portland takes your privacy seriously. 

By engaging in City Club’s digital campaign, you consent to participate. 

We only collect information when you provide it to us by answering questions and prompts on the Social Pinpoint platform, completing the demographic survey, participating in one or more of the online forms, polls, or other engagement tools, engaging in an online transaction, or voluntarily signing up for the City Club’s newsletter. 

What personal information are we collecting and how will we collect it?

Personal information is information that can identify a specific individual such as the individual’s name, address, telephone number or email address. 

We only collect personal information when you provide it to us. Any personal information requested in the digital campaign and demographic survey is volunteered by you. 

This digital campaign is hosted by a third-party service is provided by Social Pinpoint. You can learn how this third-party platform manages their privacy by accessing their policy here. Social Pinpoint requires users include their email address to submit responses to certain prompts. 

Will we share responses with anyone else?

The City Club of Portland will use the information collected in this form for the sole purpose of strategic planning, program development, relationship management, organizational development and future community engagement efforts. 

Some responses like comments you submit can be seen and read by others also engaging with the campaign. Responses to the demographic survey cannot be read by others — only City Club’s project team will have access to the responses to the demographic survey.  

Responses may be aggregated and summarized to meet project goal(s) above. 

Third-party platforms may impact your privacy by collecting information that the City Club of Portland will not use like your IP address, browser type and version, operating system type and version, and other computer metrics. Third-party services may also install the software in your computer in the form of cookies for tracking actions, authentication, and other user interactions.
